For more than ten years, ad:tech has provided media, marketing and technology professionals with the information and events they need to succeed in a changing digital world. With 11 conferences in 7 countries, ad:tech's globally respected roster of speakers, workshops and exhibitors continues to make it the preferred resource and destination for digital marketers everywhere. Ad:tech Sydney launched in 2007 and in 2008 the organisers of the 2009 ad:tech conference wanted to engage their audience to ensure the content for the next event is exactly what the target audience wants.
The ad:tech brain site is the focal point for the ad:tech audience to read, comment and interact with ad:tech speakers, contributors, sponsors and attendees. Designed to provide the 2009 event organisers with the information to ensure the content for next year's ad:tech is relevant and current.
The website was designed and developed using an open source content management system - WordPress. We were able to ensure our high quality design was accurately translated using this free software and provide a platform for the ad:team to publish and invite feedback from their audience.
