Cora SpearCora Spear - Strategy Director

Cora Spear is Wanted's Strategy Director and has over 10 years' experience in strategic marketing and technical production across digital platforms.

Before she founded Wanted Digital, Cora was the Digital Strategy Director for Singleton Ogilvy Sydney. She worked with clients such as American Express, IBM, Qantas and Nestle. Prior to this she was a Business Director with McCann Erickson Relationship Marketing, holding key clients like Microsoft, Mastercard, and L'Oreal.

With an early career in film & television post production, Cora was an early adopter of the digital medium, working for Hyro Limited (originally Brainwaave), an international online services company. During her time with the agency, Cora was responsible for leading part of Telstra's first foray into broadband content development and distribution. This was a digital entertainment channel called RedKarpet, which won an Atom award for innovation in 2002.

Throughout her career, Cora has always held that high quality thinking leads to high quality design. This is the philosophy she has brought to Wanted Digital and she believes it will make the difference for clients when it comes to their digital communications.

Mark ElandMark Eland - Creative Director

Mark is one of the most experienced digital Creative Directors in Australia, with over 15 years in the industry. His skills include a comprehensive understanding of user interface design, programming, content management, browser compatibility, user tracking and optimisation.

As Creative Director for Brainwaave, one of Australia's founding interactive agencies, Mark worked with clients including the Sydney Olympic Authority, Audi, and the Australian Film Commission. During this time Mark won numerous creative awards including those for his work with the Australian National Gallery, Telstra and the Department of Veteran Affairs.

Becoming Creative Director for Hyro in 2004, Mark was responsible for leading the creative departments in Sydney, Melbourne and Singapore, working with clients including the NRMA Motoring Services, Canon, Ford and Foxtel, as well as the launch of Telstra iMode sites. From there, Mark went on to a partnership in MediaZoo in 2005 and then joined George Patterson Y&R as Head of Design, with a mandate to drive digital expertise across the creative department. Mark's clients there included Telstra 3G & WotNext, WotNext Music, Westpac and Tourism NSW.

Mark believes that the role of interactive design is to encourage people to 'want to interact' with the brand in a way that creates memorable brand experiences whilst at the same time driving new business. To achieve this, he is passionate about user & brand-centred design to build the perfect fusion of brand personality and positive consumer experience.

James FureyJames Furey - Design Director

James Furey is a Digital Design Director with over eight years' experience in interactive design and flash technical development. James is able to develop creative solutions across multiple digital touch points including online advertising, digital outdoor, kiosks, website development, mobile applications, as well as film and television backend integration projects.

James began his career with Deepend, one of Sydney's leading digital agencies. During his time there he worked with brands including Nokia, Tooheys, The Museum of Contemporary Art and Seafolly. He was involved in all aspects of the agency's creative services, including concept development, print, website design, interactive media, branding and moving image. As a freelance consultant he has worked with Telstra, Westpac, Tourism NSW and CareerOne.

James has won numerous creative awards and is an active member of the digital design community and a regular contributor to industry creative judging panels. He is passionate about the creative application of new media technologies and high quality ideas.

Mat HardyMat Hardy - Senior Writer

Mat has over 15 years' experience as a professional writer in journalism, corporate communications and public relations. Specialising in the delivery of written content for digital platforms, Mat has a knack for understanding the essence of a message and delivering it to a target audience in the appropriate style.

Mat began his digital career as the Editorial Producer with Beyond Online. There he worked across all the early Telstra broadband channels as well as a variety of web properties built with a film or TV tie-in. Since then he has worked for clients such as the NRMA, Visit Britain and Film Australia. In 2005 Mat joined Sinclair Knight Merz, an international engineering and project services firm as a specialist writer. There he was responsible for internal and external comms, as well as building brand awareness through positioning the firm as 'thought leaders' across a range of professional disciplines.

Mat is currently writing his PhD thesis on the educational value of collaborative web-based environments and he also teaches university subjects on digital media.
